Hi Rixo and welcome to GTA:) There is wonderful array of info and links in the library (top left) about  all sorts of AG projects including tune ups.  This is a good read although not exactely your gun but may help out  http://www.charliedatuna.com/airgun_docs/Fast%20Dear%20Tune%20up.doc  One of the  Fisrt things I would do is make sure you have spring compressor if not already?, IMO you take your life in your hands or worse.. do not understimate the spring! Good luck with it and again welcome, Tony

Rixo, a big welcome to the GTA forum and family.  Usually the stock is held in place by two bolts in the fore-stock and one bolt at the trigger guard (The smaller one at the trigger guard is to help hold the guard inline).

you shouldnt really need to take it out of the stock unless your going to take it all the way apart but please understand I am saying this out of concern for your saftey and I dont want to sound like a jerk but do NOT attempt to work on this type of airgun without the proper tools and equipment!!! the insides of these guns are NO JOKE and can very easily cause you massive if not fatal harm while working on them!!!

this happend to meWITH the correct tools and safety....

http://www.gatewaytoairguns.com/airguns/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=26828&posts=21&start=1

all it takes is one tiney lapse in attention and your in an ambulance on your way to the hospitol with parts of you missing......... my eyelid had to be sewn back together as it was in 3 peices after that and I am so unbelievable lucky to still have my eye....

that being said re-read the link that was given to you about the fast deer until you understand it!!most the information can be related to about any springer... the takedown andparts may be different but in operation they all work the same....

if all you want to do is clean the gun.... all it needs is the barrel swabbed out on occasion and the whole things wiped down..... there is no reason to take it down any further then that......

Rixo yes he basicaly did what the article that was linked was telling you to do... he probably took the gun apart(you NEED the proper tools and a spring compressor!!!!) cleaned and deburred the insides then replaced the seal and maybe the spring and the relubed and put it back together.... with the correct tools and time even ok job at this will usualy make a large difference and if done at or near a pro level will make an amazing diff.... there are plenty of tuners out there you can send it to if you have the money and they will do an amazing job!!! we have a couple good ones right here on this forum!!!

I am not saying dont do it yourself.... I am just saying dont do it till you can really understand that article and have built a good spring compressor to do the job!!!!!!

hell put where you live in your profile there is a good chance someone who knows what they are doing might live close enough they would be willing to help you out!!! its a win/win LOL get to hang out with another airgunner and get to learn alittle something while your at it :)

Edit: looks like your out around long beach in cali.... I know there are quiet a few good airgunners out there in cali.... dunno how close they are to ya though LOL
