ok guys, remember i'm a newbie here so my question is : how do you know if your spring is broken? does accuracy change , different sound when firing, or what........

Don't remember if I've welcomed you already....so a BIG WELCOME TO THE GTA FORUM AND FAMILY.

A few symtoms of a broken spring:

When you break the barrel or cocking arm....there's usually a one to two cm arc....if there's more and no resistance.

Weird creaking and/or scratching sounds from inside the receiver.

Loss of power.

The piston won't catch with the trigger sear.
