I have a 48 and love it but it's a very powerful, hard hitting rifle and scope mount can be crucial with them. Do yourself a favor,,, clean everything with denatured alcohol to make sure any hint of oil or grease is removed. By everything I mean the top of the rifle receiver, the dovetail grooves, all the metal surfaces on the mount base, rings and screws. After that is accomplished go ahead and mount your scope using blue loc-tite on all the mounting screws. after the scope is completely mounted put it aside and give the loc-tite 48 hours to dry and cure before taking your first shot. Also, before you start shooting mark the scope tube with pencil lines on both sides of the scope rings. This will give you a constant reference point so you can immediately notice if the scope if the scope has moved at all. I have used this method on all of my rifles, even my magnum springers, like my RWS 40, and I have never had any problems with scope creep.
You got yourself a nice shooter there... Congrats and enjoy.
