Leaper's Focus Ring
« on: April 29, 2010, 04:55:23 AM »
I have the Leaper's 3-12X44 SWAT scope and the focus adjustment ring is very stiff and hard to turn. Has anyone had similar problems with this scope and is there a way to loosen it. Thanks.

Keith , Both my leapers3-9x50AO distance adjustment is fairly stiff to turn I tried working back and forward a few times it did help some, but still not finger tip control and figure that it was normal tight for leapers scopes!  Tony

I have a 4-16x56 and a 3-9x44 SWAT scope.  They are quite tight.  Adding the 80MM side wheel to the 3-9 made it much easier to turn without adding too much bulk.

It's not the side wheel I am having problems with, it's the magnification ring. But I do plan on getting a side wheel for mine also.
