Scope Recommendation
« on: April 29, 2010, 06:34:12 AM »
Hello to All.

I am new to this site but have really been enjoying all of the information and posts.

I just recently got a couple of rifles for myself (RWS 34P Pro) and my son (Gamo Recon) for backyard target shooting. Mine came with a scope but the Recon did not so I am now looking to add one.  I am seeking recommendations on a basic fixed scope that's not too expensive.

Thanks in Advance.

Dan

I have the Leapers 4x32 Golden Image and love it.  It's about $36? and has lasted for 7000+ shots on my TF-89.  I would highly recommend it.

Hi Dan and Welcome to the GTA:) Tcups has given the info I would recomend also. It is important to get  a scope designed for an airgun and the AO / abilty to focus down to 10yds is an asset on an air rifle. I would also add this scope as another option  http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm?contentID=productDetail&prodID=OSAR312X44&src=tpCtgOp  , I have one and works great for medium power AG's:) Tony

Thanks to all for the welcome greetings and recommendations. The BSA 4x32 looks like a good option and a priced right.
