New marauder .25/ pcp questions
« on: April 30, 2010, 12:17:33 PM »
i got my new marauder .25 today. pumping with the hand pump is killing me. cant afford air tank. the gun looks flawless. It sure is differant shooting a pcp. Those .25 pellets make a big hole and have a huge chunk of lead compared to the .22. i dont see any small animal walking away from it.

could anyone answer some questions:

1) Anyone have any idea how to make my gun use less air but still keep decent velocity?? Can i just screw in the air screw a little??

2) Most important question: i cleaned my barrel with some patchs. With a PCP, do i have to shoot a lot of pellets through it to season the barrel and get best accuracy like i did with my springers? (It only seems to shoot round ball perfectly and Its out of the box stock).

3)  if the barrel is free floating, then what is the purpous of the barrel band?

4) Are these marauders blued steel or is that something else? Its looks blacker than any blued steel iv ever experienced.
