Chinese two piece side coker....tuning parts?
« on: April 30, 2010, 02:10:48 PM »
I found this thing today cheap. On the stock it has....BEIJINGQIQIANGCHANG WEIFANGFENCHANG....XIONGHAO B-6z

Its .177 cal. Shoots decent and pretty accurate with the laser on it. I was wondering if there were parts that will work with this little shooter.I would like to try my hand at tuning one up and this one was cheap enough that I wont worry too much about doin it.

Here is a link too what it looks like

Thanks

Search QB-57 and you should find similar parts. Tune kits from South Summit might work? This looks more like the Tech Force version from Compasseco but the guts are the same, I think. Maybe someone more familiar with this iteration will chime in. Sure looks like it!

Best Airguns used to sell what I think is an identical gun, I almost ordered it a couple of times.  I  handled one like that at Cobra Airguns awhile back, although I don't see it on their website anymore.  It was a very solidly built gun, I actually liked the way it shouldered.  I wouldn't be surprised if the QF-2 tuning kit fit it perfectly.

Yep, looks like a QB-57 with a synth stock and no front site. MM posted that it's manufactured under several names, like a lot of others, but this one is a B 9-1. I also believe the QF2 kit for a QB-57 will probably work with it. Best to send a message to Mike and have him concur.

Not a lot of power (500fps in a .22 cal with 14.3gr CPHP) but VERY accurate and an absolute blast to work on and shoot. The QB is anyway.

Happy Shooting!!!!

The only thing I see different is the breech is not on the end of my barrel as pictured. It stays in the loading chamber of the ag. The barrel slides into a reciever and butts up against the back of the breech.

Does anyone have pics of the internals coming out. Mainly the trigger/firing parts. I like to know what to expect before I before I dive into it.

Thanks Guys for your replys. I'm a 45 year old noob in this hobby, and you guys have helped me tremendously in my endeavor to pick up this hobby.

     Again Thanks Guys

Just saw your post. If you are still interested, I have the parts drawing and list of the QB57 manual.  But I don't know how to attach them.

It's a little different from the QB57. It has a different set-up in the breech. The barrel doesn't stick through like the QB57 and the trigger is different. Just a block that drops down and blocks the piston. Pretty simple set-up. Thanks though.

QB57 or not?
« Reply #8 on: June 05, 2010, 06:45:57 AM »
This gun is the same as the B9-1, sold by Xisico in the past. The design concept is very similar to that of the Industry Brand QB57, but they are not exactly the same gun. The B9 has a much lower muzzle velocity than the QB57 (only 500 fps was claimed), has clip loading capability and the only caliber is .177. The QB57 is available in .177 and .22 calibers and is single-shot only.

Unfortunately I've never owned a B9-1 and so can't say which parts are compatible with the QB57. But I have to believe that there was originally one design from which the QB57 and the B9-1 both developed...
