« on: May 04, 2010, 09:48:00 AM »
HEY GUY'S, don't mean too take up alot of your time again but pulled whisper apart today(spring so twisted together didn't need compressor yet) and the seal was mic. at .992 to .993 ( blown seal bad, hope my son post's it for you all, wonder the gun shot at all) but my question is what seal would you use apex small 1.02 something or tesla seal gamo .995 (I believe it said) which one do you all think is better choice. THANK'S IN ADVANCE!!! broke spring, busted scope, blown seal  embedded with shaveing's and a ton more in compression chamber I think this is my last gamo for sure!!!!

My Whisper has a .983 compression chamber bore so I went with the smaller Tesla seal.

I ran the tesla seal in my hunter and the apex in my big cat and the tesla lasted about 500 shots. I did run 10.65 gr pellets through it for comparison with my 350. Those were he tesla seals last shots. So it could have lasted longer, who knows. I have apex small seals in both now. I am happy with them. Very consistant. I think the window is about 12 fps from hi to low. Lost a little on the velocity but with a smaller variation come more consistant accuracy and accuracy wins wars. Also kills more grackles.

I installed to my gamo whisper a small apex just 3 weeks ago. The measurements you wrote are the same than mine.

small apex   is your choice to pick up.

Good Day
