My .177 M-rod shoots great out of the box, bought near the end of March.
I was gonna tune it, but its shooting 10.5gr @ 900fps average, 19fpe, and very accurate, so I'm not messing with it.
I have depinged it, removed the barrel band, and lightened up the trigger.
Very happy with it.

I'm leaning towards the .25 , just because I don't have this cal. I was thinking about going w/ a .25 barrel for my Condor, but I never been a big fan of switching out barrels.

Seems like you would favor the one and leave it.

Still thinking,  Hmmmmmm.

Thanks for you info.......Eric

I fill mine between 25 and 2800 psi. That seems to be the best shot count with consistency. I did turn up the power by 1 1/2 turns which gave me around 900 fps with 16.1gn pellets. I have sent my M-Rod out for a performance tune to Roald. I ask for accuracy with a certain pellet and consistant shot count. He is a long time friend of mine and had just tuned DanoTX's M-Rod. It was pretty dang accurate before I sent it off but should give me a decent shot count and accuracy when Roald is done with her..:) He also is working over my trigger as well. Will report back when I get her back..

I would like to get another one in .22, but I keep looking at the Rainstorm also.
I can't make up my mind, the shorter Rainstorm keeps calling to me. lol   8)

Dave, how is your .22 M-rod?
I want to get one really bad, but I'm thinking about getting a prep'd one from Mac1
Should I bother in your opinion?

I dont think its died down. Everyone has bought one is all. If you dont have one, it is a must for any air gunner. Small adjustments, if needed, and you will have a great gun. pull the trigger.

Cool website Rick. So it looks like you breed and raise Ferrits. Have always wanted one as pet...:) Also notice that you may have an interest in video games. I used to play them all but have settled on some old classic strategy games and RPG games. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Gene, I need to update that links page. I play COD4 now, thats about it.
I don't breed them Gene, but my Son has 4, and my Daughter has 4, in seperate locations.
My Son doesn't stay with me now, but when he was, I was very close to Frenzy and Gizmo, and enjoyed taking care of them.

Yea, I'm one of those guys who reads all the marauder threads in jealosy and I want to get one so darn bad, but financially just cant do it yet!!! hehehe    I've been bitten by the bug.  I haven't heard a bad thing about the marauder yet.  except you have to pay to get one lmao....   for the price range I don't think anything else compares.  It seems the cheapest place to get one is from pyramid air with the 10% off discount.

Mine is a stock rifle and is one heck of a shooter. Shot some critters last hunting season. Waiting for the 25 Mrod i just ordered to arrive. Love those Crosman PcPbig boy toys. I have never had any trouble from my 177 or 22 cal Mrod as well as my 22 cal Disco all are stock rifles and shooters. Another words they can and do out shoot the shooter. Ha ha
