Leupold's are for sure nice scope's I've not used any on air,but have one on a rem.700 custom in 300 win.mag for long range & it will perform and it's held up great to heavy load's with 180gr & 200 gr bullit's. hey take a look at sportsman'sguide.com they have some military contract over run's of counter sniper's that are in the $270 & up (way up)range and they are very, very well made, rated up to 30mm weapon platform's.

If you have the Money, buy a Leupold. I have a VXII 3-9x33 EFR. It is by far the best scope that I own. I wish I had the funds to put a Leupold on every firearm and airgun that I own. The old saying is true, " Buy the best once, and forget about it. " snookman

The VXII 3-9x33 and the VX-III 6.5-20 EFR are rated by Leupold as springer ready. However, they also say that any of their scopes can be used on springers. I would stick with the two rated models.
