Shop Work
« on: May 08, 2010, 09:21:00 AM »
With the off and on downpours along with wind I've been confined to the shop to work on tune's and camo project's but that didn't stop me. There was a break in the rain and I caught the glimpse of something black swooping into the feeders. I grabbed the 2240 and eased around the corner of the shop door to get a peek and sure enough a small Cowbird was helping itself to the feed. Switched on the Red Dot and rested it on his chest WHACK! one down. :) I just left him lay there and went back to work but it wasn't ten minutes later and another black figure catch's my eye. I repeat the process but this bigger guy was a Grackle, he dropped just as quick. I grabbed the camera and shot a quick pic of em with the dead on pistola then went back to work. It was a 16yrd shot from my shop to the intruder's and I spotted the neighbors cat watching the whole thing so I laid them next to my shop and both are already gone. :) Ed

Thanks Harry and nope this is one that I picked up several years ago. The trip down to brother Gene's was to get the real skinny on tunes and dive head first into it. :) Ed
