I was about 10-11 years old and my grandfather and I got those Crosman spring BB pistols that look like a .45 cal for Christmas.  We ended up shooting most of the bulbs off the christmas tree.  Apparently alcohol and air rifles are a bad combination.

Lol I took out The double pain sliding glass door when I was about 14. Our dad made us put the target against the tree that was about 15 ft to the left of the door. We said it wasn't a good idea but he said to do it. So me and my bro were shooting and then I had the idea of hiding in the trees and taking a sniper shot. As soon as I pulled the trigger on that 760 pumpmaster the window turned white then fell to the ground. My brother looked at me and said oh $h!t your dead. I almsot ran away. Then we brain stormed. Hey we could just take all the glass out and see if they notice. Well dad came home in mid clean up and there was no hiding all that glass. Dad was actually cool about it because we man'd up and didn't try to hide it. If he only knew the plan. Lol

The other door I took out with a rock and my weedeater. That thing cought a rock and instantly took out the nice 300 dollar etched glass front door the wife was so proud of. My youngest daughter looked at me and said I'm telling moma. Little narc.

My brother in law put a real nice crease in his car by using it for a rest for shooting a high powered rifle one day.   Just did not occur to him at the time that the actual barrel was a couple of inches below the scope.
And be glad that you don't have those new plastic framed windows in your house.

Had the Grackle in the cross-hairs and it started to walk, so I had to track it for a few seconds and squeezed the trigger. The air rifle coughed and the Grackle flew off...what he heck? Looked over the scope and saw a nice round hole in the aluminum window frame. It could have been alot worst...abit more right and I would've broken 4 panes of glass!!!! Applied putty and paint and moved that window to another location in the house....where the window is less used.

Btw, you can see the previous hits on the guides for the window frames.  Since then, I've added a few more extra dents on that side and a few on the right side.  Now, to avoid that, I put my elbow on my knee to raise up the barrel before scoping the critter.

We had just entererd the huntiing area and heard a near by rifle shot.  My hunting buddy had just taken down his first buck.  10 seconds later a second shot rang out then a third and fourth.  Now my curiosity had the best of me and I beat it through the brush and find my  buddy pale and trembling uncontrollably.  my first fear oh God he shot himself.  I said are all right?  He said yeah yeah.  It is just the craziest thling.  i dropped lhim with the .270 walk up and set my rifle down to get out  my guttinng knife and the damn thing stood up.  I pulled my .38 and fired right at its head and it just shook his head.  I fired again  and same result.  Look dude I am 8 feet from him.  I fired a third round and it snapped its head   back and he dropped dead as door nail.  I was trying to figure out what hell i was doing wrong.  (guy is a excellent marksman especiallly open sites and  blackpowder muskets).   We started cleaning tlhe buck and all of a sudden my friend cries out "Holy crap I shot it with 2 rounds of  bird shot.  I forgot I loaded some birdshot rounds in case i crossed any Grouse  Hope you enjoy the story but different in that the target was not the problem with ammo was.  :D  :D
