pindog2000 camo project
« on: May 09, 2010, 02:51:20 AM »
Between the tune's coming in and back out I've been working on Cliff's Walter Talon Magnum, getting camo. I already laid the base the other day and with it dry I sketched out a stony rock stencil this morning and threw some stones at the stock hehe. Cliff want's a Poppy flower with leafy camo but it needed some stone effect to break up the pattern. The border around the stone's will be layered so you won't see it when I'm done, if one was wondering. This is part of the layering  when doing camo with depth, start from the back and work forward. Now it's back into the drying booth to cure then start planting some Poppy's with leaves. Ed

It takes some time if you do it like this or like some do just start spraying colors at a stock hehe. The stencils take the most time, drawing em is easy cutting them out oh boy hehe. Ed

See what a little foliage does:) laid the start of the leaves around the rock and you can see how it start's to hide any border's. Enough time in the paint booth tonight back at it tomorrow. Ed
