You all know just how this works, you can't eat just one. A few months ago after being away from air guns for several years I decided to try a gas piston gun and wound up with a Trail NP 22 to punch targets and occasional pest control work. I like it, and it serves it's purpose well, but I really mainly like to target shoot. I noticed Gene's main battery, and started checking out ProSports. Anyway, I've had mine for a month and thought that I would do a small review. Fit and finish is excellent, the walnut stock is nicely done and not disappointing with a mostly straight grain unless you've seen Gene's stunning Tiger Stripe. The bluing is deep, and metal is well done. The trigger is a real pleasure, and the action smoothly cocks with no drama. I have a Hawke 4X12X40 in Beeman mounts leaving easy access to the loading port. It shoots with a solid thunk and likes Air Arms 451s. I was doing OK with this 10 shot 25 yd group until I dogged the last one. Regards

Jim you sure picked a very sweet shooter. The fit and finish as you say is excellent. They are a high quality made air guns. If you every think you will need to tune it just give me a holler and I will help you. I have tuned a few of them and also have done my own as well. You would think they would not need a tune but there are small mods and adjustments that really make them shine.

When you get ready for another great target shooter look at the HW-97's. I would say that it would be a hard choice between the two of them. I actually will grab my HW before my PS... Just love em... I do not think that HW 97 comes in a walnut stock but the wood they use and the overall fit and finish is just as remarkable as the PS. And cheaper..
