Very short hunt
« on: May 13, 2010, 03:56:58 PM »
I’ve been punching a lot of paper lately, mostly because with the shift to warmer weather there is a lot of yard work to get done. But today I decided to get out for just a few minutes and I literally mean just a few minutes. I stopped by the dairy for only 20 minutes today and collected these 4 birds plus 4 more that I was just to lazy to go and recover. I honestly think that if I had stayed for a few hours I could have got upwards of 40 or 50 birds. They were everywhere today and they kept coming in to the feed piles at regular intervals. I’ll try to get out for an extended shoot this weekend.

Sorry for the crappy photo quality but I hustled home to mow the lawn and do some chores before taking the pictures, by the time I got around to picture time it was dark out.

Good shooting and nice pics.   I love those yellow headed birds, we don't have anything like that around here.....

Great shots at those birds with your RWS 350 Magnum.  Yep...we don`t have those yellow-headed black birds up there too.
