hey ya'll, gotta say ive missed the comraderie here at GTA !
been busy with the kids, seems that i havent got much of a social life lleft these days !!
weather has been nice so i took ryan my youngest and austin, his bestest buddy out for a day of airgun plinking and sniping. brought my disco, ryan had his new .177 disco and austin had our "timmy" built 2250 for the day.
ryans disco has been treated to a 3 screw trigger mod, polished sear and we added a leapers 4x16x50 to it. that kid just loves havin his own disco !!
austin had not been out "hunting" before and to ryans credit, he's become quite the tutor. be it safety aspects, trigger use or just finding varmints he's come quite long way as he demonstrated withy his buddy austin.
( by the way, both boys had saftey glasses on while shooting )
next is my oldest tristan............at 14 he stands just shy of 6', wears a size 12 shoe and as an all-honors student carries a 4.2 grade average. not much for shooting, but he's a beats when it comes to track ( 50yd, 220, 440yd, mile and long jump) as well as his favorite sport....baseball. right now hes holding a 410 or so batting average............
and then theres maiah,...heathers baby girl, and my daughter by choice. she's our musical whiz, self taught guitarist, she spends hours every day on her new ibanez iceman 400. like heather, she sees the good in everyone, she a gentle soul; and yes, she has me wrapped around here finger !!
