Hi Gene,
First post here on the GTA.
Good thing going here. Always room for more new ideas in the airgunning hobby.
As for suggestions, I'd like to see a" Wish List" started. I've seen it in one of my gun mags I get and have seen manufacturer's actually respond with a new product I'd seen in the wish list sometime prior.
Unfortunately I can't think of one off the top of my head right now but it has worked in the past to bring on new products.
I feel quite sure that Mfg"s or at least a couple employees scan these forums, so there's a good chance the boss gets some good input. Everybody wins, as they make more money, and we get a new product for our toys.
As an example, I'd like to see a red dot sight with a pressure switch to turn it on like the lazer rsights have, so you're not always fiddling with the rheostat trying to get the right dot brightness for the ambient light conditions when a target of opportunity pops up. You could set it and forget it, and when that squirrel, rabbit, or whatever suddenly appears you're ready in an instant to take the shot.
Should be fairly simple to do for a manufacturer of red dots or lazer sights.
I realize those little batteries last a long time but I've accidentally killed a few forgetting to turn them off for a day or so. The ease of use is the big factor here IMHO.
Good luck with the forum. Hi to Charlie. My NRA Gamo tune and GTX trigger are doing fine. Well pleased Charlie. Hope everything shakes out amicably for all concerned.
Sincerely,
DEW
