Just finished installing a GRT III in the Summit today, anything I say from here has already been said about these triggers, but WOW what a difference. Installation took all of about 5 minutes, and then swapped out some different glass on the gun. A few shots later I had her sighted back in. Loaded up and took a quick drive down to the dairy to try it out on feathered vermin. I noticed a flock of pigeons picking there way between some cows that were lying down on the straw. They noticed my approach and started to quickly head straight away from me. Now trying to get the cross hairs on a pigeon moving fast over broken ground is not an easy task. But I stayed with one, then when they were about 50 yards out the started feeding again. I gave this one just a little elevation and squeezed the new trigger, then heard that satisfying thump and watched as the bird flipped over. The other birds all took flight for just a moment but then decided if this guy was going to stick around it must be safe to land again. Remembering the sight picture I quickly reloaded and picked a second bird. Gave him just a little more elevation because of the extra few yards he flew, and at the shot he rolled over in a puff of feathers but quickly righted himself and flew away. I watched for as long as I could thinking he was going to crash land but he never did, tough bird I guess. Then I got one more Yellow headed black bird from about the same distance but didn’t feel like trying to cross the electric fence to go and get him.
Now I’m a firm believer in the trigger and will soon order a second for my Big Cat. Sorry for the crappy picture, they look pretty sharp until I resize them then they get a little fuzzy. Anybody got any suggestions on how to resize them without degrading the quality?
