My Next Three Air Rifles
« on: May 19, 2010, 12:38:44 PM »

I have been looking real hard at 3 different guns. I am going to get the Benji Trail NP .22 with laminate stock. I also want to do some R&D work on the power plants. The next gun is the Daisy Powerline 1000WS .177. By the way it is made in China...:) My next big purchase will be the Evenix Rainstorm .22. I really love the carbines and the Rainstorm fits the bill for me...:)

Of course there are a hundred other guns I want but will just have to take them in order..:) When I get back from vacation in June I will be doing allot of R&D work on these two springers...

THE ONES I SLEEP WITH: BSA Lightning XL, AA TX-200, AA ProSport, BSA Ultra, HW-97K, Crosman NPSS .177, FX Cyclone, HW-30 Nicle Plated, AA-S200, Crosman Marauder, CZ-634, R-9 DG, Webley/Scott UK Tomahawk, Benji Kantana, Benji Marauder, Benji Discovery.....

Want a high shot count with enough power to hunt ...
Then I seen the New Evanix Monster.....
$1600 US....$2400NZ on my door step..
Still almost a grand cheaper than the S type...

Also want to get my hands on a Beji gas ram thingy...

Looks like the Monster would be great hunting rifle.. The NPSS is really the way to go if you are looking for the heavy duty gas ram. It comes in .177 and .22 Pete.

Funny, I've been looking at the same laminate stock NPSS Gene!  Haven't seen if they're available yet- last I looked they were posted on the Pyramyd site but weren't available until June-ish?  Nice to be back on again!  I've been on sabbatical these last six months.

Keep the shiny side up all!

Got bad news for you Gene,....if you didn't like the Hatsan DPL's,...you'll like the Chinese versions even less. Do yourself a favor and pick another turd to polish. I wish I knew somebody that has a stock duplicator,...I'd like to drop my Hatsan action in a wooden stock. That would be a major improvement. tjk

Thomas, I have news for you...:) Guns that I buy are guns that I have tuned and shot. They are the guns that I feel are worth owning. Believe it or not I do know air guns and I no a bad one when I work on one..:) So the Daisy 1000ws will be in my stable but will not let any Turkish guns in...:)

The Rainstorm I have held and shot and the Benji Trail I have also worked on and shot.

Thomas we both are opinionated. Maybe I am more so than you. I am getting old and cantankerous..:) But I believe I have enough experience working on springers to know what I like and dislike.

And I might add that I hate to talk down certain air guns but until I see one that comes from Turky that meets my standards then I will not own one or tune them...:) Out of many springers that I have tuned the Turkish guns are just not that good.

THE ONES I SLEEP WITH: BSA Lightning XL, AA TX-200, AA ProSport, BSA Ultra, HW-97K, Crosman NPSS .177, FX Cyclone, HW-30 Nicle Plated, AA-S200, Crosman Marauder, CZ-634, R-9 DG, Webley/Scott UK Tomahawk, Benji Kantana, Benji Marauder, Benji Discovery.....
