CFX Royal in .22
« on: May 20, 2010, 02:05:36 AM »

Here's one I bought just a while back from Gene who originally imported it from England, so it is an early model and has the golden trigger, as well. Gene lubed it but did not perform a tune, although the gun shoots very smoothly. It's really not even broken in yet and has seen maybe a hundred pellets, max, all indoors. Only detraction is a ding in the top of the stock opposite the rear sight. Selling because I like to shoot open sights and this one has a bit too much recoil for me. (BTW, these are no longer available in .22 from PA.)

$230 shipped CONUS to and where legal. First "I'll take it" followed by a PM gets it.

If I remember correctly it was shooting in the mid 700 fps range with 14.3 gamo hunters. The Gamo CFX is not a power house but it's known for it's accuracy. I still own my original Royal from the UK and one synthetic.
THE ONES I SLEEP WITH: BSA Lightning XL, AA TX-200, AA ProSport, BSA Ultra, HW-97K, Crosman NPSS .177, FX Cyclone, HW-30 Nicle Plated, AA-S200, Crosman Marauder, CZ-634, R-9 DG, Webley/Scott UK Tomahawk, Benji Kantana, Benji Marauder, Benji Discovery.....
