i used to be a diehard .177 man.   the .20's ok but performs much like the .22 in most guns.   i have an rx-1 in .20 that totally rocks (but too heavy to hunt w/).   i've reall fell in love w/ .22 caliber this past year...so........ i got a .25 for the one year anniversary ( an 'R' stamped falcon hunter).   i am mind-boggled by the raw power of these things.   it shoots 800 fps in .25 caliber w/ h&n ftt pellets.   i'll probably be saving for a .25 marauder next.    if i had to choose one caliber now - it would be .22.   - paul.

That is the price I just paid at the Dunseith, North Dakota WalMart today. It is an hour and a half away but I had to be nearby so I took the time to check it out. A good price, lower than their online price for these pellets.

Got 2 tins of .22 CPHP for $6.97 and saw .177 Destroyer EX and said what the heck, for $2.00 per tin I'll try it out. I tried the destroyer ex on my modified 1377 and DANG! I was surprised to see single holer @ 10 meters> I had to double check if I missed and saw the2nd pellet was stacked on the first one. Shoot some more and the same just a little bit bigger. I tried this with 10 pumps (707fps) dead center, 5 pumps(556fps) 7 o'clock , 7 pumps(638fps) 11 o'clock, different POI but all grouped same with 10 pumps. I think I got  a new paper puncher and feathered pest pellet. Gotta go back to Wally world and grab some more .22 CPHP and a bunch more of them Destroyers EX for my Modified 1377.

i'm glad yours were ok.  the one's i tried were not agreeable - not even the 370 fps walther cp pistol..   i went to get a tin of the regular destroyer pellets from acadamy - they work well for $3-4 pellets.

Yup..very good for my 1377 and not for my other shooters. I am swapping my QB79 .22 to .177 and hope to get same grouping with the pumper.
