Reflecting On The Past....
« on: May 20, 2010, 10:31:38 AM »

Was day dreaming today about all thetinkering I want to do with the guns that I have bought but never had the time to work on them.

Also was thinking about when ever I buy a new gun I am just asexcited with a $100.00 new air gun as I am with getting a $1000.00 air gun...:)

Guess that says I am a nut case...:) And then of course I am looking at scopes and mounts to go along with the new gun. It just never ends...:)

If I had it to do over again, I would not change a thing..

Just my thoughts...:) Thought I would share.

THE ONES I SLEEP WITH: BSA Lightning XL, AA TX-200, AA ProSport, BSA Ultra, HW-97K, Crosman NPSS .177, FX Cyclone, HW-30 Nicle Plated, AA-S200, Crosman Marauder, CZ-634, R-9 DG, Webley/Scott UK Tomahawk, Benji Kantana, Benji Marauder, Benji Discovery.....

Well, Gene, here's your chance. You can buy back that CFX Royal I just posted and tune her up, LOL! I don't reflect too much upon the past. It usually ends up pining for guns I shouldn't have sold, etc.  :D

I'm like you Gene,

Except I manage to stop myself before I buy too many air guns. I realise that I don't have the energy to shoot what I have, and pass on new purchases :0

Buy there are a few out there that I still have to walk away from before I can't resist them callin me over. :o And a few of them make me run away, cause they are so pretty !

But every air gun I shoot, I enjoy the challenge of mastering her.

So many air guns, so little time to shoot !

I hear ya' Gene, - I get more pleasure out of my low cost "tuned guns" than I ever imagined. The Whisper that I just had a Gas Ram installed, is a charm to shoot now, - not that it was a problem before. - I have a custom made 300 Winchester Mag (Interarms) - and almost never touch it. It's FAR more enjoyable to take my Savage .22 cal (19 NRA model) and go for 100 yards with it. - Keep enjoying it as long as you can, ... ;)

Gene i understand very well as i make my purchases from mike melick and buy other airrifles like rws cometas and so forth i enjoy the clones just i do the german and spanish ones and to be honest .Iwas into airguns at a young age but as i got older i notice im the olny one with them living in nyc and at the time cops didnt say anthing cause they probably taught it was a toy since i was 8 years old and it lasted till i was 14 but it was redryders and daisies .my father had a barber shop and i use to shot in the back of the shop go old days i miss them .Any way i got back into them in 2006 with a winchester 1000sb and i was happy and it costed 149.00 now i get airrifles that cost no more than 300.00 but they are worth more but i get lucky at times .I dont regret a thing just when i get rid of an airrifle just to have another and it doesnt make sense but its called adiction .
