First hopper of the year
« on: May 22, 2010, 12:25:04 PM »
He tried to turn and run, looks like my first shot shattered his back leg then took him clean with the second.

Hope I can get the photo uploaded right.

Nice shooting.
Wow that's some damage to the hind leg.  What gun did you use?

I have not shot a bunny in very long time.  We just don't have them around any more.  Too many hawks and other predators.

Where I am at there is no predators for the rabbits so they are plentiful here.

I took my shot with my Gamo Big Cat that is stock with the exception of a trigger a Leapers 5th gen 3-9 50 pushing CPHP's down the tube from about 15 yards.

Too bad about the hind leg had he not tried to run would have been a head shot.
