MP5K BB
« on: May 22, 2010, 03:30:22 PM »
I think I was among many of the first to get this gun. It was for sale on Pyramidair for about 30 mins. Now it's out of stock again till the 3rd of June. All I have to say is, wow! This little thing is a blast to shoot.

It's a MP5K replica, 40 round clip, blowback. All sorts of crap.

I really hate the blowback feature, it waists a lot of air. But it feels cool to the shooter.

I have been shooting Avanti Precision Max BBs through it only. You'll get about 100 shots then the BBs will be horrid inaccurate after that at 10 yards. In my little 3 yard shooting spot down here I put through 4 whole mags.

It's pretty decent accuracy wise, it's smoothbore :(. 10-20 yards is pretty easy. Goes right through soda cans at 10 yards. I did not do any chrony testing or accuracy testing on paper.

I'll have to do that some other day.

It's a fun little gun to shoot. Buy lots of co2!

I am getting a claw mount and Uncles Mike grip for it. Since it's a replica you can buy aftermarket items for most of it.

-Matt

It's semi auto only. What guns did you use? M4 / M16A+ models for us.

45 for my belt and sniper rifle mostly. Sometimes depending on where I was at I had different weapons available. Most of my work was done long range if you know what I mean..

We had access to the barret 50. It was still in development stage. It was awsome but nothing like the ones that were released years later.

i saw that same shooter for awhile and would be nice just to plink at 10 to 15 yards ,i know that blowbacks take up all the air out it would be nice bulk filled ,i started with pistol and had 16 of them until i sold all of them but kept the crossman 357 pellet 10 shot and barretta elite bb that holds 19 shots i take it to the waters and shoot rats with it .Matt you are ready for anything that cross your path cool, the few ,the proud the matt hehehe ...jorge
