Some fun shooting with an old friend.
« on: May 23, 2010, 05:17:37 AM »
I took a drive across town yesterday to visit my old friend and co-worker (Victor) from IBM in the 90's.
I had sold a Beeman R1 laser for him in the GTA classifieds, but he still had a couple of guns left from his shootin days.

After we spent some time shooting the M-rod @40 yards he brought out his .22 Beeman P1 pistol.
I  am kind of new at air gunning and had never seen one or shot one before.
We shot some shatterblast targets, from around 20 yards, and I fell in love with that pistol.
Now I want to get one, but they don't make them in .22 any more.
He is going to have both of his kids in college soon, maybe I can talk him in to selling it to me in the future.

He used to compete with is R1, and shooting cloverleaves at 40yds with the M-rod was almost routine.
I thought I was a good shot, but Victor is much better. He beats me at ping pong also. but i give him a fight. LOL

This hobby isn't addictive is it?   8)
