By all means buy one and lets see how good she is. I have seen several Hatsan built springers in the past and they were very poorly made. But maybe Hatsan has taken some advice from the Chines on how to build a decent air gun....:)  JMO

David, believe nothing that you hear and half of what you see. I think Hatsan has gone the same line as Crosman as for major improvements in its line of rifles. Besides Diana introducing the 54 AirKing with the recoiless/dampening system, seems no maker has ventured into this phase much lately,... Save the gas ram/hatchback strut employers. And add to that the Quatro trigger platform (which some what resembles the  likewise of a cloned Rekord design), it looks to me like Hatsan is more than ready to shed the Webley personna of out-sourced re-makes and stand on their own feet. Kudos to Hatsan I say. There are two rifles I plan to look into when I finish my short list,.... A mag Hatsan, and the Norica Tribal rifle. Love the power of the Turkish Hatsans, and amazed with the Norica's accuracy in my old Marksman plinker. Possibly two of the most under-rated AG makers of our time. tjk

Hatsan has come a long way and on their own. Kudos to them! They ARE spending money on R&D, even moreso than Crosman, who really just took a current idea (the Air Venturi/Theoben piston) and ran with it. Hatsan is into vibration shock dampening and coming up with better designed and manufactured guns. Kind of like Honda and Subaru, when they first hit our shores (US) they were kind of crappy. Now they are starting to lead the pack. Only time will tell if the new designs will pan out but they are NEW and that's something we haven't seen for air guns in about thirty years.

Red, could it be we are not getting the more refind stuff you mention here in the US? I do not seem to see Hatsan on Pyramyd's web site.

hi....
I havn't had a 155 in my hands...
But I did put a few pellerts though
one of the new 135s with the new 3
way adjustable trigger & SAS system
One very nice gun was rated at 1250fps
but seemed a bit more docile recoil than the
standard 125 in 1250fps...
If it was a .22 it may have ended up in my gun rack
Hatsan have done a lot of work in the last year..
just make sure its got the gold adjustable trigger
and SAS system which seems to be a rubber and spring
shock adsorbing system on the front stock bolt ..1 bolt
that goes right though the stock instead of one
 each side as normal...

The 155 is sold in the US as the Winchester 1100XSU.  PA has them:

It looks about the same but the stocks are not as nice and i would dare to say it dosen't have the shock asorbing system a true hatsan has.thanks david

Yes, it does have the SAS system & the Quatro trigger. It doesn't have the Triopad butt system.   It's the Hatsan 100X not 155X.

The Walther break barrels are both Hatsan made as well.
