Our walmart had the Beeman RS2 model 1073 dual caliber break barrel marked down from $129 to $99.
I'm hoping they are going to start carrying a better line of airguns.

I stopped by my local Walmart 2 days ago and they were selling off all the airguns they had in stock for reduced prices.  They only had a couple of different rifles but they were all marked down.  I couldn't find anyone who could give me any information.... I don't know if they're getting out of the air gun business or making room for new/different stock....  I hope it's the latter....

I just came back from WalMart and asked about the guns and pellets? They were re-doing the whole pellet gun display and had everything down. He said there were some 22 cal pellets that would be in and some new guns but didn't know what guns there were. Lets hope that they start to handle 22's.

Word going around on the Yellow is that walmart is going to start carrying a new gun that nobodies heard of and its not on the internet.
Its called the Crosman Titan GP.
I've seen pics on the yellow and it looks like a benji trail with a wood thumbhole stock and it used a 11mm notched scope grooves instead of the weaver mount on the benji's.
Somebody said the triggers were crap.
But maybe a CDT trigger will fix that.
They were selling for $149 plus tax.
Do a search for Titan on the yellow, a guy posted some chrony results there somewhere yesterday.

I know my local walmart is marking down alot of the airguns they have in stock now.
I don't know what they are going to put back out on the shelves here.
Something good I hope.
I hope they don't stop selling airguns.
And it would be nice if they starting carrying .22 caliber airguns.

...after reading comments from you folks.  Our Walmart in Fishers, IN, has almost nothing on the shelves (nothing for airguns, I mean) except for 2 Crosman Recruits, 2 Beeman RS2's, and one Daisy 880.

Everything was marked down except the Daisy ($99 for the "Beeman", I think $39 for the recruits...not sure).  The 880 was $45, and I  bought it (what the heck).  I also picked up 2 tins of Daisy .22 wadcutters for $3 each.  I think I'll check the store in Westfield (closer to my house anyway) and see if I can get some more pellets.  They're good for breaking in new springers, and at that price, why not?

They had 500ct tins of CPHP's for $6.99, I'm going to look again today and see if they dropped the price on those any  -- I have a lot of .177 at home, but if I can get a good deal, then I'll pick them up.

Anxious to see if they start carrying some better guns/ammo.  There usually isn't much at Walmart for an airgun fan (around here, anyway); we pretty much only see Crosman 760, Red Ryders, and the like...

I called a buddy of mine who is an assistant manager at our local walmart.
He confirmed that they are redoing the shelves to make room for the new style paintball guns "and" airguns that are coming.
He couldn't tell me what kind of airguns they would be but I'm guessing they will be .22 caliber since they have now stocked the shelves
with CPHP's in .22 and they never had them before.
I got my fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just picked up some 22 CPHP's at Walmart for $6.97 . About the same price as AOA. Which tells me that AOA is a good deal price wise. The shipping is the only thing different.

I visited several Walmarts in Texas and the airgun section had changed in all
of them.  They had Crosman .22 pellets and was stocked with the Crosman
.22 Titan GP Nitro ($149.00)  and the Crosman .177  Phantom ($80.00). I was
told this cound be expected in all Walmarts.
