Today my new Leapers 4-16x50AO scope arrived. Soon as wife took off for work I went to work mounting it on the 350 and getting it all leveled out. Got it on and took a peak out the back window. Man this thing is crystal clear from 10 yards to over 200. Ran it through all the magnifications at different yardages with no problems. Well now to the range. With 2 shims that have been under all the scope on my 350 it hit about 2.5 inches high left at 35 ft. Made adjustments then reshot and was closer. Then finally got it dial in on center on 3rd string. So I poped up a new 2 in birch wood target with 1/4 in black square in center and put 3 through a hole the size of a pellet. Now thats more like it! I then adjusted her down to 1 in low at 35 ft since that was the 30-35 yard zero on the last 2 scopes before they went bad. WIll have to stretch her out this weekend sometime. The scope came with a 3 in sunshade and it looks cool on it. WIll see the difference when I get out side. This is a nice scope so far and will see how it holds up. Hopefully this one lasts. will give more report this weekend sometime after I put a few rounds through it.
Pics wont atach will add later. Must go to bed. Worked 36 hours straight with only about 3 hours of broken sleep. Gotta love duty. Glorified baby sitting.
