The newTitan GP
« on: May 31, 2010, 05:58:22 AM »
I had my new Titan out this morning an let me tell you what this thing really shoots! I'm impressed with this rifle its the best 150$ airgun I've ever bought even with the crappy trigger I'm able to shoot graks an starlings out to 85yds so far unbeliveable! I knocked off 7 at that distance pretty easily not mention the the others I took at various ranges from 20 to 75yds, I put a leapers 3x9x32aomd and one piece mount on it and this one will shoot :) The trigger needs replaced in these guns if you want to do some serious shooting tho, but so far I'm havin good luck with it  :D  I may just buy a Trail NP I'm so impressed! :p

How much does the Titan weigh?

Sounds like a good shooting rifle, but I would like to know the weight. I prefer a rifle heavier than the Quest.

I'll swing by there today.  The ones here usually have clearance camo clothes this time of year.  I was looking for some for my wifey for coyote hunting.  However I have to go out of town.  The ones in the city here have crap for outdoors stuff. In fact I wonder why they even have an outdoors department!

Safe for now, my Walmart doesn't have any Titans yet, but they have cleaned off their shelves so they are about to do something soon in the airguns section.

I stopped at a local Walmart this morning to see if they had gotten in any of the new air gun stuff yet and there it was hanging on a shelf........ a new Crosman "Titan" .22 caliber "Nitro Piston" rifle for $149 bucks.   They also had the few remaining "Phantoms" marked down to $80 bucks.  I gave the Titan the "once over" as best as I could while looking through that clear hard plastic case covering it and I have to say it looked very nice.  Wood was nice, metal appeared nice and I liked the look of the muzzle brake.  I will admit it was hard for me not to buy it but I  managed to keep the credit card in the wallet and  walk away.   Now the real hard part is going to be not making another trip back to  Wallyworld   :)
