My local walmart had three guns one phantom for 80. the new nitro piston for 150 and a quest for 109.  all in clear plastic cases.  I like it at least you can see the wood grain if you were to buy it.  I'm tempted to head down to another walmart to see if they have any old airguns left.

Checked both of the Super Centers close to me this morning. My closest one has the Titan, Storm and Phantom in the bubble pack but no discounts at all. Well, Phantom is $80. BUT, a neighboring store has the Beeman 1073 twin caliber w/4X32 scope for $64.00. Made me think, for a second. Hmmmmm.....

That $64 twin caliber deal sounds pretty sweet  :)

I'd jump on that like a monkey on a cupcake  :)

Yep, my WalMart had 6 of them.  Now they have 4 and I have 2!  For $54 you can use the barrel for tomato stakes and the stock for firewood and still come out ahead.

Wonder if they knocked off the GRT trigger for this LOL.

How's the Centerpoint scope?  If it's as good as their $69 4x12 Centerpoint I'd but the gun just for the scope, if I can find one at a local Wallyworld.

The 3x9x32 that came with my Storm XT is actually pretty decent.... not great but decent and usable.  It's not AO but I don't mind..... it's been getting me consistent dime sized groups so I'm happy with it.  It'll do just fine for squirrels and such  :)

Ezman...... I'll gladly take the cupcake but the Storm is staying  :)

I bought the Beeman 1073. It's the Chinese version of the RS2. I took the scope off and replaced it with the $64.00 Centerpoint 4x16x40mm Mil-dot. Nice scope with AO, and variable bright on the illuminated (green, and red) Mil-dot. The rifle...well it's a good bargain shooter. Hits very hard in .22. The rifle is made by S/R Industries (but says "RS2 Sportsman Series" on the action). It came with the .177 barrel installed. It shot very low, and I discovered it was bent downward. I've contacted S/R, and a new one is being sent to me, supposedly going out today. I spoke to a woman named Dani. She told me the barrels are custom-fitted to the breech, but I asked her to send one anyway. She agreed. So I'll see how that works out in a few days. Other than that, I'm pleased with the rifle for the outlay of so little cash. Nice looking stock too. A might heavy, but (as a He-Man) I'm not complaining. :)

As for the CenterPoint scope, I bought it online from Wally, and paid.97 cents for shipping to my home. Only took three days. A very substantial looking beast it is.
