Congrats on your new rifles....  I was in Walmart today and picked up a Crosman Storm XT w/3x9x32 scope for $54 bucks... they had them marked down for clearance.  I almost took home a Phantom as well, they had it for $75 bucks... but I was good and put it back on the shelf....

Anyway, congrats on your new guns.... will be looking forward to your review of them.....

i bought a storm several years back and payed i think about 119.00    and its shoot well  . i also bought  well my wife bought me a remington summit in 22  i have heard on here no one likes them but to  me it is one of my most accurate rifles it chronys around 710 fps   and is not very pellet finicky unlike either of my xls.  i can tell you what if there would have been a storm in our store for 54 dollars i would have had 3 rifles instead of 2 they are imo  very good rifles with a trigger upgrade. thanks david

Just got me a bunch of .22 CPHP from walmart. Way cheaper than Pyramid Air that sells it for $8.25 and Wlamart sells it for $6.97.

I pick up a Titan this week also. The girl friend bough a Socom Tactical last week from PyramydAir . We been shooting everyday this week we are about ¾ the way through our second tin of 500 pellets. You're going to do a lot of shooting with that Titan GP. Needs a better scope.

I'm surprised...  they look exactly like "The Peak" wadcutters.

The Storm I picked up was in the cardboard box.  They did have some in the blister pack but they only had 4x32 scopes  instead of the 3x9x32 and the blister pack Storms also had the "old" style trigger while the boxed ones had the "new improved" trigger.

You guys are killing me with the Walmart stories...

Ours never have anything good in CA, but I am going to stop on the way home tonight. I tried to organize errands past one over the weekend, but she was on to me...

I want an armload of Titans, $50 Storms, and $6 .22 pellets. Around here I would think any .22 pellet there would be a miracle, but maybe times are a-changin'.

lol The walmart stories ARE painful.  The ones(3) around us quit carrying firearms, then the pellet guns dwindled away and theres just a bunch of daisy "Bucks" and 760's. I remember the last time i saw a "big cat" box... sniff. I sure hope the titans are coming... not sure i'm gonna buy one but i'd like to at least see one..   :)  J

Well, not surprisingly, the trip was a total bust. Something is clearly going on, because the pellet gun shelves were GUTTED. No .22 pellets, no Storms on sale, no Titans... just a bunch of empty shelves and the Daisy Bucks for $17. I don't want one of those, even for 17 "bucks".

But there may be some hope for whatever comes next. Any other SD airgunners finding the deals?
