13xx cocking knob extension

Put a Williams notch sight on my rear cocking 13xx. Thing is now that it is cumbersome to get to the cocking knob.  As the sight is set back far behind the breech. Any suggestions to a cheap /simple idea to extend the knob? P.S . I like the cocking knob setup so switiching to the bolt cocking set up is out of the question
