The Gamo 220.22 is going PrairieDog hunting today
« on: May 08, 2007, 10:26:06 PM »
After letting her sit in my gun cabinet, I pulled her out the other day and mounted the scope from my first B3 on her, Powerline 3x9x32. Nothing fancy but the scope's been holding up good and it's time to notch the stock on the 220.:} I took her outside to my range, 40yrd's to my first target and spent some time making sure that she can put the Gamo Hunter's where I want them, shot placement is a factor on p-dog's. After sighting her in I put five shot's into the target, I think that will do. Put the dust cover's back on and put her to bed, she need's her rest if she want's to play with the dog's hehe. Scanned a pic of the five shot's for you, she's ready.:} Ed

I think those kind of groups will work out just fine for the P-dogs !!  Great shooting there buddy.
I'm looking forward to the story and the pics.  Only P-dogs I ever saw were the ones in the Bronx Zoo, they have a great natural looking display.  It was cool looking, but I do have to admit as I stood there with the family looking at them I was imagining picking them off as they stood on their little mounds.  :)

Just a dream though,,,, no P-dogs in good old New York.
