Trail NP XL vs. Titan GP
« on: June 17, 2010, 04:35:03 AM »
Has anyone done a side-by-side comparison between a Benjamin Trail NP XL and a Crossman Titan GP?
They look very similar.
I can see that the Trail XL as a different barrel and rings for a sling.
I’m wondering if they have the same GP?
I hope the Trail XL has a better trigger.

Marty,
From what's already been posted about the Titan, it sounds like it's more comparable  to the Trail NP(22 cal @950fps), not the Trail NPXL ( 17cal @1500fps and 22 cal@1100fps). The XL is not only rated faster, it's a heavier gun and tougher to cock.

The Trail NP and NPXL both come with a 3-9 AO scope, welded-on Weaver rail, sling and mounts, fully shrouded barrel.

There's additional info of how the Titan and the Trails compare. Do a search using ""Titan" and you should find what's been posted.

Paul.

i have a titan  and it is basically a remington summit or a quiest with a ram, about the only thing similar to the xls is the stock no where near the power and no where near the cocking effort and much lighter  . the titan is a blast to shoot very accurate and easy to shoulder  just put the charlie trigger in it and away you go .  thanks david
