Got a manual metal shear, to cut pieces of flat stock for metalwork projects, like field target mechanisms.
My birthday was April 29, same as the late, great Dale Earnardt,. Thanks

I want a throatless shear too, been trying to talk my work into buying one for me to use, but they don't really understand how they could use it.....they have no use for it, but I do:)

Did you get that cross-slide vice you were looking at too?

I have the same black and yellow surge protector in my garage, good deal at Ace Hardware one weekend for $9!

Harbor Freight was out of stock on the cross-slide vice( too bad as it was on sale for $41), so I ordered the Shear from Enco instead. I'm making a bunch of Field Target mechanisms so I'll just make some jigs to hold the pieces I need to drill or weld. Should be easy now that I have something to cut metal almost effortlesly.
