Gamo Whisper?

Just saw an ad for one on the Midway webpage, but no picture. Says it's coming soon. Any idea what it's going to be?

Thats a new one to me hope it's something a little different  for a change. I would love to contact these people and teach them how to make a decent stock instead of this synthetic rubbish I know its good in the field but its not as accurate as solid wood. I think GAMO make really great guns but their stocks are starting to let them down. I think they should hire some of us to help them out.
Lets hope they get something right with this new one.

Ya for sure Sean..:) I have like five of the synthetic stock Gamo's and duplicates in wood except for my S1K's. Although a 440 wood stock fits the S1K with one small change. The little roller that fits on the cocking lever is larger on the Hunter 440.. I will eventually buy a 440 stock to put on my favorite S1K..:)

Sounds like an FX PCP with a "Whisper" barrel. Seems like it's got an integral shroud, for lack of a more legal description.

Wish we had some neat wood around here like you do Sean.Know anything about Black Walnut? My Dad has some chunks he's been seasoning for about 5 years off a 35 year old tree from his back yard about 10" in diameter. If it's a stable enough wood for a stock and a big enough log, what would be the best way to have a stock blank cut from the log?

Sorry to get off topic here.

Here's the information you requested:

This New Model will change the way you think about hunting with airguns! Offering 1200fps with PBA or 1000fps with standard lead, your sure to be ready for the elements. The non-removable noise dampener reduce the noise up to 52%!

They'll probably want a pretty penny for it.  I don't really care for the way it looks, just looks weird to me.

Have any of you actually been on the otehr end of the airguns? I have heard them when my g/f shoots in the yard. I go stand by the target about 10-15 feet to the side. And its a weird sound. Almost like a big syrnge is being pushed in. I wonder how much this will work.
