Flying Dragon Air Rifles QB78 Tuned
« on: May 16, 2007, 04:26:58 PM »
Last month I started taking a look at  CO2 air rifles, the 2240 from my good friend Gene sparked my interest. I lurked around  some post and obsorbed some info , that and looking at Gene's sweet baby sold me. So now the big question, should I go to Best Air and get one or some other sight's which carried them. Now come's some new info to me, theres this guy who sell's them too, not just sell's them at a great price but does some fantastic tune's on them. I send him a e-mail  of  what I would like and his response, Tuned the way you want!. Tuned hmmm, ORDER BUTTON PLEASE. Everything that I heard about Mike Melick's tuned airgun's is true, I received the gun double boxed and tucked in safely. The stock was was nice, a couple blemishes and little scratches, not from Mike but the factory I'm sure. All the metal was perfect, iron sight's were they should be etc. It's shooting time, loaded a couple of CO2 powerlet's , grabbed my Gamo Hunter's and headed upto the shooting range loft and settled in at my shooting bench. I loaded my first pellet, so excited hehe , flipped the safety and put a bead on my 25yrd target box and WOW! :D this is not a springer at all LOL. the trigger pull, perfect and the gun shoot's so smooth. The power surprized me but at 25yrd's she was punching the center out of my target. I will keep you updated since I just got her, chrony, pellet choice etc. As for now I'm very pleased with my first CO2 air rifle and my baby has already received some attention. She has a custom shroud and brake from Gene's (AirGunToy's For Us  Boy's) fantastic looking. 8) and will be recieving a adaptor for bulk fill. I will pull the stock and refinish and a scope will crown the top. Thank's to Mike Melick from ( FlyingDragon Air Rifles) for a super tuned QB78 and Gene for his super sharp shroud and brake my new addiction er I mean addition to my family is off to a GTA start. I will get some pic's together for you all. Ed

There is no doubt that Mike is good with them Co2's. Mike and I go back quite a ways and you just can't find a guy that is more honest, good to deal with or that will do more to help a fellow airgunner, especially with a QB than Mike. He is good at his craft and knows them QB's as well as or better than anybody I know. Also, you get much more than you pay for. As most of you know, I don't usually direct to  or promote different companies or individuals publicly because of business ethics but Mike is an exception. If any of you are considering a QB, see Mike either first or see him last, but see Mike,  cuz you won't go wrong or be sorry.
