Well, looks like the old Yellow Forum BS is still running strong.  Yesterday, a guy put up  a post about one of Bob's triggers.  Really happy, of course.  Rich in Mich. pops up and makes some rude comments, both about Bob and the GTA in general.  Not being able to leave bad enough alone, I responded by telling him that was rude and unwarranted, that no one on the GTA was bad mouthing him, he was the one that got his nose out of joint and left.  Checked in a little later to see if there was a response, and the entire thread was gone!  Went to check in again this morning, and my access to Network 54 is blocked.  Suppose Rich got blocked too :-)?  Guys, this IS a GREAT place to be!

I lurked at the yellow forum for a while & saw all the petty bickering & BS that went on...That was enough for me to stop lurking. True there IS some good info there, but too many babies to make goin there worth it.

Yeah, I've all but stopped going to the Yellow Double Standard Kindergarten myself.
Why have liver patte when you can dine on Fillet of GTA?
Besides we have one of the top tuners here as a plank owner,  why mess with the rest?

Thats the trouble with most forums,too many know it alls and prima donnas.I regularly visit about 5 airgun forums and have learnt to "cherry pick" the info and ignore the rest.This is the only forum I post/reply on as it would seem that everyone on here was listening at school the day they taught manners.

Mark , I agree. There is a lot of bickering going on over there.
About the only thing worth looking at there these days is the
classifieds.
If there is any info I need I normally contact folks directly, Rich
has always supported me totally, I call him any and all the time
 .... maybe there's too many guys like me leaning on him and
wearing him thin.  :0  I hope not. Bob, Rich and Steve... are all
great resources and have been good to me... I just hate
fights I guess.

But you just put the whole thing in a nut shell.  That comment about Bob, Rich, and Steve would have gotten your post deleted on the YF.  Guess that says it all.

Well, after a couple of emails back and forth to Steve in CT, I've been reinstated on the Yellow.  Although I think it's petty, he IS the forum owner, and his rules are simple: NO mention of Bob or the GTA will be tolerated.  I questioned whether that applied to everyone, meaning posts praising or bashing, and he assured me it did.  Said if I saw a post I objected to, email him and he'd delete it.  Don't know if I want to go there, but I might.  Will see what's up this morning in Yellow land.  About the time all this came down, good old Steve in NC decided this was a good time for a history lesson, and posted links to a whole bunch of past posts on this subject.  I posted a response to that aimed at Steve in CT asking if that's what he meant about the rules applying to everyone. Will keep you posted on the results.  Later.
