** I tried to get the springer I wanted, but...

I tried to get the springer I wanted... a TX200SR MkII

I came close a couple of times, but unless you check the for sale section every 10 minutes, you don't have a chance.

I had sold My 2 tricked Gamos, a few extra scopes I had, some extra automotive and carpentry tools I had.

This along with a few hundred out of the crying and moaning pool got me this: A .177 [19.91fpe] Walther LG300 Dominator Hunter,

which has a wooden laminateS200-type stock.

I threw on a scope I traded for that NK scope I tried to sell here, with a few bucks, and got the Leapers 8-32x56 scope, as

I want to target shoot further out than 35 yards, and I thought it would be a good idea.

The grip feels great, and the triggerhas adjustable everything, andlets go around 3oz, a little lighter than the Airwolf, which I wouldn't

have believed.

I think they've discontinued [but still support] it, so that was why the price was so good.

It's a bit loud, but a craftsman is working on that now.

Oddly, the air cylinder works in up to 300bar [4350psi], and gets 40+ shots a refill, and the standard deviation with JSBXHVYs was around 1.4,

which is really good, and around 1.8 with CPHs, which is still pretty good.

ED ; very nice , I've  thought about cleaning house and going for something like that , but I do own some that I would miss.  :) . That'd be the only way I could swing it . But congratulations and let us know how she shoots. kirby

Here are some Excel charts of my Walther LG300 Hunter, fps vs count values

The 19fps is obviously better.

I was pumping pellets through a 1/2 inch hole at 40 yards... first time to the range since I got the gun. And I intend to get better :)

At 100+ shots flat, I get as many good shots as I do from the Airwolf, though I have to fill to 300bar to get it.

And the trigger is more adjustable, and it will pull as lightly as the AW, at 3 - 3 1/2 ounces.

Since the wolf has basically no sdjustments, my small hands/fingers have a hard time.

Everything is adjustable on Walther... so I'm selling the AW to get the FT version of the LG300.
