My older Beeman S1 and wifey's Shadow (which are close to each other in the rack) barely understand one another.
Besides, there's a little bit of a "my lineage is better than yours" kinda thing going on. It appears that the Norica-built S1 thinks very highly of itself because it carries the name "Beeman". However, the Gamo constantly reminds it that while it may have the Beeman name, it's "low man on the Beeman totem pole", and therefore really has nothing to brag about. (The Gamo knows nothing about the Chinese Beemans).
Sometimes they carry on for hours. I've been tempted to separate them, but deep down inside, I think they really like each other. Fortunately, the other 3 Gamo's are a wee bit more mature than these two, and stay out of it - but with an air of slight bemusement.
Of course, the Crosman Quests and Phantom just say "Whatever!". They just don't care one way or another. The B20 (which actually sits between them) sometimes gets annoyed with all the bickering. The B19 is just happy to have a new lease on life after numerous transplants. My AR1000 never gets into any arguments - ever since I fitted it with a Gamo barrel, it's just plain confused.
My Hammerli Storm is very shy and self-conscious. It knows that it has a trigger problem, and is rather embarassed by it.
And nobody - but NOBODY - messes with the RWS48. And I don't blame them.
