The reintroduction of the SuperSear and more...
« on: June 07, 2007, 03:12:18 PM »
The SuperSear-II, the HDD and quite possibly the 13/22xx sear will soon be made available again. See the info regarding why I have decided to market them again and where it stands to date. The information is in document form on my website and not on this forum. For those interested, follow the link below.

That is Fantastic News Bob... I missed out on your aftermarket Crosman parts last year. Just recently have gottin into the Crosman Pistolas.. I assume the parts you are refering to are for Crosman pistolas.. Could you tell us a little more about these parts Bob.. I have heard of them through the Crosman forum but do not know what they do or what performance improvements they serve.. I am sure allot of the new members here on the GTA will want to read all about these parts..

Thank You
Gene

In the very near future, maybe as early as tomorrow the pages for the SuperSear-II, the HDD's and the 13/22xx sears will be up again on my website as well as the past testimonials. I'll be posting that info as soon as they are up. As time progresses over the next week or so, I will be updating the pages and have new pics to put in. It's exciting. Feel like a kid in a candy store. I have already started a pre-order list and have already  started receiving orders. Amazing... but then so are the mods.

The tricked out 2240 has the sear in it
« Reply #5 on: June 07, 2007, 04:17:04 PM »
Of course the ever pleasant NC resident failed to have them properly heat treated but fortunately that was taken care of before it was so badly worn that it would no longerfunction . . .
Good thing I was able to have Bob give it the 'once over' before it gotso dangerous . . . I think the sear could bedone in a good A2 tool steel with a spring return design so not even the NC resident could sour grape ~ except for the 'everything he does is better' reality he is lost in . . .

RE: "J's" tricked out 2240
« Reply #8 on: June 07, 2007, 05:56:47 PM »
Yes, "J" is right.

The 13/22xx sears were ordered in the US back then by the original designer, Steve Woodward and were manufactured off shore, then sent to Steve then forwarded to me to market on my website.  But because of the poor quality and workmanship of the sear, the sear  would become worn to a dangerous state or would not cock in a very short period of time.  :0  Some of the sears were so poorly made that they would actually break where the adjustment screw threads were drilled. :o

I eventually wound up having to heat treat and refinish every single one of the sears by hand  that Steve had sent to me and that I sold. I of course replaced all of the inferior product at no charge or shipping, no questions asked.  8)  My customers were all taken care of and satisfied and fortunately, "J" did not have a mishap.  Yea "J" :D

Needless to say, that will never happen again. I myself have never made and sold an inferior product yet.

Bob, it has always been a pleasure doing business with you.  I think you contribute much to the air gun community as a whole.  I have a 1377 Crosman so I guess I will have to get into that one with your new sear.

Do you think you will get to the point you will be accepting credit cards for payment?  Only because it will cut the wait time down for us who need a parts fix.

Thanks Dave.  I doubt that I will make any payment changes. I do realize that for some it is an inconvenience but the way it is set up now it makes it much simpler and easier for me and doesn't add to the work load. The setup cost along with the transaction fees and constant processing are not worth it. It can actually be pretty costly for a little guy like me.

Bob glad to here that you are coming out the sears again. I don't know if it will work on a Cros.1400, but if it will I will be sending you a M.O. I will soon be doing a reseal and some trigger polishing, to make her into the fine shooter that she once was. I used to shoot pecans freehand out of the top of the tree with her, the most I ever got was 3 in 1 shot without breaking the shell. She was the most accurate have before she blew a seal.

Glad to hear the news. I was lucky enough to buy a crosman sear before you stopped selling them. It really made big difference in the accuracy of my 1377.  Good to know if I need another one that they wil be available.
