Airgun design reference material?

I am wondering if any of you have run across any books or papers on airgun design. I am interested in doing some reading and would love to see some reference material. Like how do you figure out the size of a compression chamber, or what relationship a spring has to FPE or velocity. Things of this nature are intriguing to me and I love reading this kind of stuff. I have read the Lewis and Clark rifle thing a while back and it is a good read. And usually when people post links of designs of this that or the other I usually go and take a look. Like the one Gene had put up for the guy in Sweden with the 12FPE pistol he does some pretty nifty work from the pics, and I like the way he explains things also. So lemme know what ya'll have run across so I can be a little more educated when I am talking about things on here. Thanks

Hmm I like this... well I did some research and found the book available here. The problem is I couldnt find an email addy for this place lol. Although there shopping cart is set up to ship to the US, the credit card info is for UK credit cards. And of course the money is in euro's or pounds or what ever currency they are using. I am kind of stupid when it comes to foreign currency. I sure would like to contact this place to find out what I gotta do to get this book from them lol.

Well see my idea in starting all this airgun stuff was I was wanting to eventually build my own. I am aways off from that but some nice down time doin some reading would be kind of a good thing for me I think. If you got some tippers lol and are handin em out for free... let em fly buddy!!!

Hmm well I got bored and decided to figure out how much this book from the place in my last post was in US dollars shipped. 85 bucks lol I am gonna have to figure out if I am that serious right now. I can see it now...20 years from now when I actually get around to a finished airgun I designed and built myself. The list would look something like this....

This book is more about theory of operation in a springer, only got it a week ago myself.
Airgun Trigger to Muzzle, make a good read though possibly not what you are looking for.

I am assuming design theory...as far as direct and indirect relationships between the mechanical workings of a springer? The kind of thing I am looking for is something that might have some plausible eqautions on things like chamber size, stroke length, spring details for wire size and coil size. But I guess really I will have to get some of my own ideas down on paper and just start doing them. I am interested in the book now I just have to find a way of getting one here in the US.

There's a program called "Fluid" that you can use to model valves....I have drawn a couple valve designs and then run them in Fluid to see where the bad points are.  It shows pressure and velocity....pretty cool if you are into that stuff.  I also have a program for modelling called "Catia", they use it at my work to create models that they can then "print" on a 3d printer......Star Trek stuff, freakin' magic!!!  You can take a drawing into Catia, test the flow in Fluid from the models created on the screen, then "print" an actual plastic valve, or whatever you model on the 3d printer...I need to get me one of those:)  Just waiting till they have a 3d printer that will "print" in aluminum.  Not a CNC machine, this actually takes raw plastic and squirts it into a shape.
