If Ed said he ate it, then Ed ate it.  He's my brother and I've seen him eat squirrels, so you know he ain't zactly "stable".

Us guys and our toys, you can bet we think we are much smarter than we appear:)  There are no "secrets" in my airgun collection, just a handful of jokes.  Funny thing is I had about 13-15 of the little lead eating devils at the begining of the year, now at the moment I have 2, so the only questions I get are "where'd they all go?"   :p  :p  :p

Ya, aside from all the teasing and carrying on, us guys are like little boys when it comes to our toys..:) Many times my wife would let me buy just about anything within reason if we had the funds available.. Sharing and compromise is the only way to keep things within reality when it comes to marriage's..:) I love to tease Dano about his ways with the grocery money, etc, but it is all in fun and I guess that is why we all have such a great time on our forum..:)
Now, I want a new Talon SS or Condor..:) Give me some tips Dano on how I can cover the missing funds outa da bank.. hehehe

................for the question of how to hidde Talon funds I have one answer......trade me the Sumatra.  Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!

But really, on a more serious note....this is how it is done.  "Honey, you know I retired because I worked very hard to give us a good life.  I worked day in, day out, never thinking "just" of myself, but always thinking of "us" and our future....so honey, please, I am thinking I really need this new airgun, and it would make me so happy in my retirement to shoot such a gun, and marvle at it's beauty which is only surpassed by yours....Honey, we NEED this gun".

There you have it:)

The best way to get new toys is to get your better half involved in the shooting. My wife shoots aswell and everytime I want something new I get 2 and say 1 is hers. Another method that worked on my first Crosman was "I bought it for your mother to use on club days". Mother in law has never shot it and I've had it since October last year. HEHE. My latest Crosmans were bought as a hunting gun, bulked," because the dive bottle is too heavy to carry out in the field and I get a heap of shots out of it with good power".

I forgot to mention my stress attack I had that got me into shooting. Doctors orders. "Find an extra mural activity that relaxes you". I chose shooting.

hehe, I have a TalonSS arriving tomorrow.  I sold a bunch of nice stuff(look at my album http://www.gatewaytoairguns.com/airguns/photos/photo-thumbnails.asp?albumid=13&Page=1&sortdir=desc) I still have my BSA Superstar with gas ram, and I still have my B50 PCP.  Alot of what I sold I built, so it was a labour of love.  I am a builder, not much of a collector, and a pretty decent shooter...I own what I can work on, with exception being the BSA Superstar (it's just sweet).  It's all research for what will hopefully someday be "the BIG plan"....haha, whatever that is:)
