Shadow get's CFX.22 Varments leave town

Well she came today :D  Had a early day at work so I raced home to see if my new baby had arrived, nope. :0  I knew she was coming today, I had been tracking her from birth hehe. So I headed out to my shop to get started on another ShadowCamoDesign. At about 3:00pm I noticed a cloud of dust coming down my drive, it could only be one thing. Out of the dust appears a FedEx truck so I headed out to greet it. The next thing Lady FedEx hand's me MY NEW TREASURE I sign something, could have been the deed to my land but at that point I could only think of one thing CFX.22. I got her back to the shop and unbundled her, What a sweetheart. I checked over every inch of her, all look's fantastic from front to back. I didn't even look over the scope yet, but I grabbed a tin of Predator's and headed out to my backyard range. I had the .177 before so I went through the loading procedure and sighted her in on my 40yrd target. WOW,she's got some punch as I heard the Predator hammer the target followed by a puff of smoke, expected on a newborn. I put twenty more pellet's through her, very impressive and put her away for the evening. I will mount the scope and do some chrony testing tommorrow and she will get a swab or two ran through her to get the goobers out. Had to shoot her first you know hehe.So far I'm very pleased with The CFX.22 but I need to get her broke in for hunting. Mine also has the .177 fps on the top. Proud Pappa,Ed

Where is my Cigar Ed..:) Glad you got you new baby today.. I sent you a 1 month subscription to Tidy Didy Diapler service ...:) Guess Jeff is on his honymoon with his little lady, so he missed out on your new arrival.. If he comes to the shootout, I will be sure to let him know it was a girl...:)

Thank's Dano and as I said before, I had to have .22 to go along with that sweet 220 from you and the 2240 from Gene. I wonder how many are left at PyramidAir hehe. Ed

Dano, you like wood and a CFX .22 CFX would not last but a week before you sold it...:) Or you could make a nice wood stock for it..

Nice ed, let me know how she shoots.. ANd Hopefully you can contract some kinda 24 hours (cold) hehe to stay home from work and get us some numbers :)

Actually real similar to my BSA...shot that tonight, still haven't sold it.  I also shot the wifes 2240 that she doesn't shoot, can't sell that either...it's not mine:(
