CFX Synthetic Stock

Just got the CFX .22.  I want to check out stock screw tightness.  I hate to admit it, but I'm not sure where they are.  Looks like there may be "covers" on the fore stock. If they are covers how would they be removed safely?  I'm fairly new to airguns & would appreciate any help.  Thank You.

Yes, there are rubber covers on the front 2 screws. They are easily removed with a small flat blade screw driver, then just push back in place. HTH
