Best way to clean a CFX

What is the best way to clean a CFX (both .22 and .177)? I use a .177 airgun model Boresnake on my other .177's (no brass brush on the airgun model) but the rotary breach makes that impossible on the CFX.

Make and use a pull through. Then use .22 patches and GooGone.

Made a pull through line with .080 weed trimer line. Cut to about a foot and a half longer than the barrel. Used a flame from a lighter to light one end and held it vertical. Once it made a ball on the end I blew out the flame and held vertical for several minutes until it cooled to the touch. Then cut the other end at a slant to make a point. Punched a small hole in the patch with a scribe and fed the line through the patch. Did not have any Goo Gone so I used Dawn, and any good degreaser should work. After five patches the last coming through clean and not convinced it was clean I thought I would try something different. Having heard one should not use WD-40 on an airgun, but knowing how well it cuts thick grease and cleans. Well after soaking a patch and drawing it through I am glad I did it, it was so black I turned it over and drew it through again. Then I soaked several patches with denatured alcohol and drew them through till they started squeaking. Then I drew dry patches through till they were clean. Went through about 17 patches.

Hey, Bob, I've got one of the Otis flexible rods, works great.  I just slip it through the barrel from the muzzle, thread on a patch at the breech, the pull it through with a little Goo Gone.  HTH.
