Gamo CFX .22 Trigger Replacement
« on: June 29, 2007, 04:38:35 AM »
A couple of weeks ago I joined this forum and asked the question about new triggers for my new CFX. I received several postive replys about the GRT trigger so I ordered one with some skepticism on my part that this one $32 miracle fix was the solution. I installed the new trigger last night and I'm blown away by the results. Charlie : "U da Man".

Hey David,

I'm glad that you found the GRT-III. trigger ! I felt the same as you, until I installed in my Gamo 890S. What happened ? I couldn't believe the difference, so smooth and crisp, and that was a few thousand pellets ago, and she's still shooting GREAT !

You have a winner now, and your right, Charlie's the MAN! !

Glad you found Charlie, and Happy you found the GTA FORUMS !

Got my CDT trigger today in the mail, ran downstairs, installed it in the .22 CFX, went outside and started shooting to make sure I installed it correctly.  All I can say is....... Oh My God !!!!   Everytime I install one of these in a rifle I get amazed all over again.

Now all I gotta do is order a muzzle break from Gene and my new CFX will truly be ready to harvest some critters  :)

I know how everyone feels about the plastic muzzle brake. Working on one of my own. Can't seem to get adequate time on the lathe at work to finish, keep getting interrupted with work orders. Making it from brass, no front sight needed, 4X Gamo scope working great.
