Since I'm a moderator on this Gamo forum, I felt it it was my DUTY to purchase a CFX when Cabela's got in another batch of refurbs. It's supposed to be delivered today.

I know, I know, it's very generous of me to buy another rifle JUST so that I can get familiar with it and better serve the community of Gamo owners. I mean, after all, why on EARTH would I want one for myself???

Now, I'm not fishin' for thank-you's or compliments. I just want to make sure my selfless purchase of another rifle is properly appreciated!

About time Vince...:) Just don't write any bad reviews on the Gamo's hehe.. Well Vince I am sure glad you finally decided to get a Gamo.. The CFX is probably one step above the Hunter series as far as recoil goes. And I am sure you will disect it after you push some lead through it... A good de buring and lube tune with some memory foam in the stock really makes is a sweet shooter.. And don't forget to get a GRT-III trigger if you can afford it..:) That will put the topping on the cake for sure..

I hope you get back to us soon on you opinion of the CFX..:)
