I was pulling into my drive after a long day at the coal mines (work) and I did my second nature scan of my domain when I spotted this fella helping himself to the wife's feeders. I shut the rig off and let it roll to a stop then slid out and circled around and into my house. I knew it was time to break the CFX.22 in so I loaded up a Predator and headed out. When I got to the back he had moved to the far corner of the yard and up my Black wallnut tree. I knew from were I was to him was close to 35yrds, I have a target at the base of the tree and I set up my shooting bench right here hehe. I pulled up and layed the crosshairs on the side of his head, took off the safety and sent one his way. The impact knocked him completly off the limb, hitting the ground with not even a twitch. Now as I admired my shot and the CFX here comes this pest to the feeder, to easy. I loaded up another and put him down at 15yrds. The nutter took one in the head between the eye and ear and the blackbird took it in the chest, overpenatration for sure.
