Finally got out.

Been a long time since my last hunt but I managed to get a gap last night. Tally was 2 possums and 4 rabbits.



Look carefully on the forestock of the rabbit picture and you can see the Crow Magnum that ended its life. It was half out the otherside and I pulled it out for the pic. Only got these pics because someone forgot to charge the camera batteries.

Great looking hunt.  Nice looking rig too.  What kind of numbers do you get with it?  FPS?

The Crosman puts out 650fps at 9 deg celsius to around 750fps at 20 deg celsius. Thats with 16gr pellets. I was using Crow Magnums at 18gr. It was probably around 10-12 deg last night if not colder. The rabbits I got were between 20 and 30 yrds. The two possums around 15yrds. I was shooting on the local golf course that I have exclusive rights on.

Sweet deal.  Do they let you play for free?  LOL.  I forgot; it's winter down there now?  9 degrees Celsius is about 28 degrees F?  Too cold for me.

Yeah. I'm from South Africa originally and it is ussually warmer than down here. I've been here for 6 years and I'm still not used to the weather. I do free airgun pest control on a couple golf courses and lifestyle blocks. I've also got a 500 acre farm to play on. Lately my biggest problem getting out is free time. Too busy organising a comp, sorting out my guns and work.
